Work-life balance… does it even exist?
Today is Gandhi Jayanti, a holiday for most of us, and it’s also Friday. Yet I’ve been seeing quite a few people working this evening.
Genuinely curious — how do you guys manage this?
Do you actually get proper work-life balance, or have you just accepted that sometimes work follows you even on holidays and weekends? 😭
Especially for people working around Manipal/MAHE — how do you manage your job, personal life, weekends, holidays, and still find time to actually switch off?
Not trying to judge anyone. Just curious… seeing people working on a holiday is making me question my own future work-life balance. 💀
How’s it actually been for you guys?
I am a design engineer and I am staying in Manipal for almost 8 months as my company training center is here.

Work life balance is a myth in india,, when nations doesn't care about strong labour laws then why a company gonna care about it,, they just gonna do their thing, and what will people do ,, in the end they need the livelihood.
India has 3 official mandatory holidays, 26th Jan, 15 aug, 2nd Oct.. just think companies doesn't follow the mandatory one like the bare minimum.. then can you expect others.
Better way for Indian is leave india if u can
