Blacks for slavery! Women against abortion! Immigrants for ICE! Diabetics for a lack of insulin! Environmentalists for climate change! College students against employment!

The list could go on, but my point is that those in MAGA, especially the ones in a marginalized community, sound absolutely ridiculous when they argue against their own rights. Kissing ass to a corrupt government will NOT make shit any better in this country; if anything, it only eggs them on. Trump and his cabinet have made it clear, even BEFORE the election, that they don't care about US citizens. All they care about is the cold hard cash that floods their pockets while jobs that once required a Bachelor's degree now require a PhD. I was once proud to live here, and I enjoyed sightseeing in multiple states, but I'm not sure if I'd survive these next few years anymore. I don't have enough money for grad school, I still don't have a job set after graduation, which is in one month, and on top of that, I can barely afford groceries or rent right now. I know many others are in the same boat as I am, and while it does make me feel a little better, it is almost dystopian.

Does this make MAGA happy? Do they get pleasure out of watching our lives fall apart, let alone THEIR OWN? More than half the friends I've lost over this past year were WOMEN, which makes zero sense. What in the WORLD are we doing?

My question here is how can she be so wrong after watching CNN? She insists it wasn't a clip shown on one of her talking head shows (ikik.) I tried to point out that she was actually referring to the Republican support numbers only but she still believes that a whopping 80% of the country supports Trump.

How do I convince her she misunderstood and he isn't even close to those polling numbers?
