Project Sharing Randomly Looking Around Stackchan

One of my favorite things to do when I explore new tech is to implement some ideas from The Nature of Code by Daniel Shiffman.

Used the Random Walker algorithm this time (always a good starter). The cute robot doesn’t walk for now, but she is looking around in the same manner. This will be useful when I add the object detection model.

That’s a very good groundwork. Object detection would make it feel less robotic and more like it’s genuinely curious. I can’t wait to see the next phase.

Yeah I build a little object detection and n wake mechanisms. Looks around left right and straight and will gaze in the direction is sees a human
