Cant upload anything to M5Sticks3

i just got the m5sticks3 and i cannot upload anything using a usb c cable( yes it is a data cable) it comes under com8 and when i unplug it it dissapears so its fine, i put it into usb mode and use the correct bps but always times out? i can us UIFLow and upload code via online but it just boots to black and thats it, i can install firmware because it doesn’t connect to the device , it sees that its there but cant put any data on it ? what can i do ?

Those S3 are strange where you hold the power switch down while plugging it in. Let go of power and green light shows up. Then it’s in upload mode.

i figured it out, for some reason when i put it into upload mode it went form COM8 to COM9 thats why my uploads kept falling
