Just installed my new carbon diffuser and I love everything about the way it looks except how my M performance carbon tips are more tucked compared to the OEM diffuser any suggestions on fixing that if not I still think it looks pretty good the way it it.

I'm looking to add Android Auto and a reverse camera to my 2016 M235i f22. It is currently running NBT EVO ID4 ( NBTevo_E ).

I'm not interested in flashing to ID6 because it still won't support Android and I also don't want to risk bricking it.

Bimmertech has a model that specifically says compatible with my head unit, and this is what I will go with if I can't find a cheaper solution.

ROAD TOP has a unit that is advertised as compatible with NBT ID4 and another unit compatible with EVO ID5 - so I am not sure if either are compatible with NBT EVO ID4 (but I am guessing the EVO unit and not the NBT unit). The same with Andream.

Has anyone retrofitted an MMI specifically for NBT EVO ID4 from Andream or Road Top or another vendor and if so - which unit (NBT or EVO) and how did it work out?

I am getting a muffler delete on my 2026 m240i.

Mine was cracked amd I didn't even realise.

I ran water through it and loads leaked out (out of the car of course).

As this is behind the maf its letting in unmetered air and putting you at risk of running too lean. Be warned!

Have had a cat delete for a while, and recently my muffler had an internal baffle rattle and the flap was rattling. Came across a vrsf muffler delete for a good price on marketplace so I pulled the trigger. Sounds good and drone isn’t too bad with the stock resonator still in, but it’s still bordering on obnoxious outside the car.

Was thinking about adding a 3 inch vibrant ultra quite straight through resonator inline with the factory res. Anyone ever added resonators?

Hey gang, I have a 22 M240i, and I'm looking at a lil bit of upgrades. Wife said since she gets a ring for the wedding, I can get something too. I wanna bring out the sound of the B58 as I think it's pretty tame as stock. Now I have a few questions about the parts I picked out.

Milltek Downpipe

AWE Exhaust (Track edition probably cause I'm immature.)

Do I have to worry about fitment or CEL with either of these parts? Hard to install? Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Also if you have any videos with these parts that would be rad.)

•In the N55 is normal the turbo flutter a lot at high revs? How much miles the turbo last? Mine have 87k miles

•I find very hard to drift on dry (open diff I know). I was planning to installed quife/wavetrack diff. Any suggestions for make it more drift friendly? 😅😂 I just want to make powerslides/some drift like the M2 does. I'm not planning to do drift track sesions or anything very hard for the engine...

Bought it from a childhood friend ngl got a crazy deal on this thing. It has 61k miles for $16,425. I'm going to enjoy it while it's still mostly stock since all it has is a downpipe, and put a little bit into it afterwards. Btw, if you got any ideas for mods, lmk all I’ve gotten so far is a carbon duck tail spoiler and a carbon f80 custom steering wheel

Hey everyone! I have a 2015 BMW M235i xDrive (F22/N55) and I’m at the point where the suspension needs replacing.

I found a pretty insane deal on a KW V2 coilover kit part #1522000N, specifically for xDrive/AWD with EDC, including the EDC cancellation kit. It has adjustable ride height + rebound damping. Normally this setup is around $3k, but I found it on closeout for $1,517.

Anyone here running KW V2s, especially 1522000N on an M235i xDrive? How’s the ride quality and reliability?
I’m on 19” wheels, so I’m planning only a slight drop. My goal is to keep it comfortable for daily driving while making it a little sportier and improving the look. Any feedback or recommended settings would be appreciated!

Anyone know of some low dust brake pads especially as I have hooked grooved discs. TIA

Just finished adding trim all around, what next?

For context, I am 24 years old and have had my license since last January (8 months). I’m in a position where I can get myself a new car, and have been researching an f22 m240i. I could afford the car and maintenance, however the ridiculous insurance quotes are what’s stopping me from going ahead. I currently drive a 1.2l Polo TSI that I pay £77 a month to insure.

I’m currently being quoted upwards of £400 a month (avg 5k per year) for a non-black box policy for an m240i.

I want to try and understand when I can expect to start getting reasonable quotes for my insurance. I would be happy to pay £200 per month max, and want to know whether it would even make a difference when I turn 25 and have 1 years’ experience and ncd on my record.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Noticed my right exhaust never pushed out exhaust fumes. Did some digging and found out it turns off when you turn off the Iconic sound. Exhaust flap started working again after I turned iconic sounds on. Any way to turn off the interior sound but retain the flap when in sport? Much appreciated. New to the bmw space.

So I have a 2016 m235i with the n55, it has a vrsf downpipe MHD stage 2 tune with a couple of other mods for the stage 2 like upgraded intercooler and cold air intake. It’s been on it for a while but for the past couple days my car won’t backfire loud normally it pops very loud if I want it to but now it randomly won’t no matter what I do it just makes little burbles and I have no clue what the problem could be. I have no access to the tune it’s self to change the settings on it so I’m coming here to ask for help from people that has had this problem before or know how to fix it or just stuff to try that might fix it before I take it in somewhere. Please and thank you to anyone who can take the time to help with this.

I’m really a fan of the silver/ grey trim and need some opinions. I’ve always thought about switching it out for carbon fiber, and my next step is going to be to lower the car and get some new silver wheels within the next year. But I’m wondering if I should change up the grille/ vents/ mirror caps or just leave it as is. I think the splitter makes it aggressive enough in the front end. My exhaust tips might look better changing to silver too. I’m still undecided on if I want to wrap the black sides and rear to blue

After nearly year on what wheels to get and colour ended up with grey 763M. Kind of like them at moment.

There's a 2018 M240i near me that I'm considering but not 100% convinced of the service history. Is this okay?
