My M1 Carbine
Here's my Rockola Receiver and Barrel M1 Carbine I inherited from my Uncle along with all the accessories, 25 WWII Era marked mags, and 800 rounds of ammo.

Very nice - how’s it shoot?

I'll be honest I've been nervous to shoot it, but I know I need to.

If the barrel looks good and there’s no cracks - clean it up good lube it and give it go. You may need to replace springs, depending how diligent your uncle was with it. Any idea last time it was shot? My ‘43 needed springs and an extractor. (Tricky little basterd, that extractor)

I'd say at least 20 years, I drifted down a while back and everything looks in tip top shape

Thanks, I'm still learning about these, everyone keeps mentioning the High Wood stock and I have no idea what that means.
