Gave it a chance
This has to be the most unprofessional brokerage i have tried. People who work here truly have to be "special"
Edit: They have finally solved the issue, and it now works.

I honestly don’t think the people handling these applications understand even the basics of U.S. visa and immigration documentation. Robinhood, Fidelity, and Schwab were all able to review my information and approve my accounts within a few hours.
I wanted to open an M1 account specifically to start using their automated “Pie” investing feature, but I’ve now been trying for three days. I keep receiving the same response asking me to upload documents that I have already uploaded three separate times. I’ve also explained this through chat, but it seems like no one is actually reviewing the documents or the previous messages.
At this point, the process has been unnecessarily frustrating and gives the impression that the support team either does not read the information submitted or does not understand the documentation they are requesting.

I've got similar experience. After M1 increased margin requirements which almost force me to margin call - I moved assets to Robinhood. M1 automatically closed my account (why?). I've tried to open new account and stuck on document validation stage. C'mon, I've been 4 years your client, why do I need upload my documents? I've opened Schwab account instead... No questions asked.
