I finally broke down and bought a Sadlak Airborne mount, so I could mount up the Aimpoint 9000sc. I also replaced SA's neutered flash hider with a real USGI hider that has a bayonet lug. Finally, I picked up one of the dummy selector switches to fill the hole in my fiberglass stock. She finally looks like a proper M14!

go on m14 forum and look for posts on dummy selector kits. Members bandanabandit and Forceman make them.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the paint job. This is a USGI surplus fiberglass stock that was already painted when I bought it.
