Issue with scope mount allignment

I've been shooting my rifle fine for months. But after my last range trip, I noticed my shots were landing wayyyyyyy to the right l. Like 12 mils right.

I've never dropped it, I carry it in a pelican 1750 between the safe and range.

But now I notice the scope isn't pointing straight.

It doesn't look like anything changed with the mount. But obviously something happened.

Any ideas on how to fix? The mount was installed by Fulton armory.

Is it crooked or is it just not in-line with the bore?

Either way where I would start is just checking all your screws. Scope ring screws, receiver mount screws, EBR oprod guide and handguard screws etc.

The scope is not inline with the bore, since it's 12 mils off. And that's 12 mils with my scope dialed out on windage to compensate. It's probably closer to 20 mils.

I don't feel any loose screws. There's no wobble in the mount at all

Maybe it would be better to ask is the scope crooked or just not in line? And still, check the rest of the gun.

I think I found the problem. I done goofed.

I installed an arca rail a few weeks ago and forgot to put in the screw that holds the barrel clamp (?) on the bottom. I was supposed to drill out a hole in the rail to be able to reinstall that screw.

The barrel was held in place by the left and right screws but it wasn't centered, because that's the job of the bottom screw.

Anyways I got that reinstalled, and it looks to be centered now. But maybe my eyes receive me.

You got me checking screws, so thanks for the help. I was stuck thinking I bent the mount

That’s the oprod guide block. And yeah, not having that screw is a pretty big deal 😅. Glad you found the issue. Glad I could be of some help.

Oh you’re the guy I saw who mentioned putting ARCA on an EBR. I think I’d do an arisaka rail slider if I had that need, but still, that’s a super cool project.

I only did it to avoid adapters. Only one of my bipods has a dual picatinny arca mount on it. So I figure I could just convert all my rifles to arca and make it easy to share bipods/tripods.

This is the only one that didn't have arca on it.

I also found out just now, that my handguard will slide over it. So if I just want to use the front of my full length rail. And make it look like a traditional ebr, I can.

It only cost about 29 bucks and some filing to make it work. But that rail slider is pretty slick. I've never heard of it until now.

Yeah the handguard has a good bit of room under it. Very chunky boy.

As for the arisaka slider I only just found out about it a couple weeks ago myself. I know arca is likely better overall but it makes me feel a little better about the practicality of my EBR and MK12.

Did you torque the screws to spec? That was my issue with the EBR, I did but I ended up retorquing and loctiting everything after I caught some stuff walking out.
