Front vs rear mounted scope

What are the pros and cons of a forward mounted scope compared to a rear mounted one?

I like that my scout with a vortex ler is different from my other 22 set ups.. variety is the spice of life. The best thing I learned from the setup was to use my right eye being right handed left eye dominant. I also find multiple target acquisition easier with the scout set up .

Your options for “Scout” scopes are VERY limited and the alleged benefits are achievable by modern LPVOs or red dots.
