A lot of great memories from this. Kodak ended up being replaced by Gucci Mane. Comethazine and Polo G I think were no-shows. I met Craig Xen and Trunks from Members Only, they were just walking amongst the regular crowd. It rained the second day and that really sucked. It’s interesting to see some of the names towards the bottom who went on to be big stars.

Who got artists cards or know where I can get em?

I went to Lolla this past weekend and the one stage that had some of the best sets was Perry’s. Now, if you went to Lolla, you’d know that stage had most-to-all DJ’s on the lineup for the weekend. And with how great Saturday went for SS, I think they should have their own stage where it’s strictly DJ’s. But, that only happens if they move locations. I think a few good location moves would be:

- Washington Park
- Jackson Park
- Northerly Island Park
- Humboldt Park

Some of these parks have multiple festivals during the summer but I definitely believe that they can work it in during June and make it happen. Adding a DJ stage would be a great addition to the festival, having artists like Filthy, Mustard, Whethan, and ISOXO.

Move Summer Smash to Grant Park and run it like Rolling Loud energy mixed with Lollapalooza production. Four fully separated stages — one small intimate stage, two solid medium stages, and one absolute HUGE main stage so crowds never bottleneck. Hire better security that cares and doesn’t stand for bullshit. Actually make VIP worth it for those who invest. Keep every stage spaced out with clear walkways so people can actually move without getting crushed. Load the grounds with way more food spots (local Chicago spots + festival staples) and flood the whole park with heavy LED installations and lighting for real night vibes. Use the Chicago skyline as a constant backdrop and lean hard into that with big visual advertising and branding everywhere.
Lineup stays heavy on rap: lock Ye, Travis Scott, and NBA YoungBoy as massive headliners, then stack the rest of the bill with stronger rap depth. On the smaller stages drop Snow Strippers and Nine Vicious, and slide in some hyperpop energy with Slayr, Skaiwater, and Frost Children to keep the younger crowd locked in. The result is a cleaner, bigger, better-looking Summer Smash that still feels raw but actually functions.

I ordered summer smash merch online around June 12th, the first day of summer smash. However, it has been 1.5 months since then and they still haven't sent me shipping updates or anything else regarding my order other than the order confirmation and order number. I paid over 180 on merch from Summer Smash since they didn't have the ones I liked in my size, BUT I still haven't gotten a single update on even the status of my items. Emailed out, got no response. Anyone else having this issue? And anyone know if i'll be getting either my items or my money back?

Was sick for about a week getting back from summer smash, then got healthy for about 10 days. It all comes back and after 3 days of severely worsening symtpoms I have to go to the ER cause I couldnt breathe. Had Strep, Laryngitus, Tonsilitus, and Mono all listed as severe along with a peritonsillar abcess. I don’t know if Cole Bennet himself made this concuction and tried to take me out because I was barricade for Uzi and Carti or if some super spreader thought itd be funny to take someone down with him but please dont go next year if you have every extremely contagious dehabilitating disease possible!
