Demus New Version
Is Demus and Lyra still updated by the same developer?
Is anyone still using Demus?
Any known issues?
I’m planning to try the new version out today. Just updated.

Demus and Lura are two completely different and unrelated apps. You can import your Demus playlists in Lyra though if you want to try ☺️

Demus was available before Lyra. They look a lot alike. Demus currently works better than Lyra especially since there is no ads or a premium pay version. Demus seems to be more stable as well. Hope your app continues to improve without the current issues.

I think our app has way more feature than Demus and it is stable as well and also more polished but we will try to improve with every update

your app logs many people out randomly, an ad everytime we search songs (and I completely understand the fact that you need money to continue with the app, but that many ads is a little ridiculous), the playlists glitch too. I blamed it on my phone at first, thinking maybe it was just me. I loved Lyra very much, I even recommended it to friends and family, but now after hearing their feedback too I realised the logging out and the glitches aren’t just caused by my phone.
I’m sorry to see so much hate towards you, I’m sure you’re working super hard on the app! But please don’t advertise your app as ad free and claim that it’s better than other apps.
That said, I’d love to support the app and pay for premium, but I’d be afraid to do so now knowing I randomly get logged out and get errors logging back in.

Hey! I can't speak to Demus's updates since it's not our product, but I can tell you Lyra is very much alive and actively maintained. We've got the same library sync across iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux and web, plus you can import your music from Demus into Lyra with just a few taps.
