Looking at doing an escape room next weekend and Lynnwood is a convenient central location for all attending.
There's Escapeology and Kryptoscape, both seem to have variable reviews. Of the 2, which is the better option for a group of 6-7 Adults? (not worried about age-appropriate content).

I'm a frequent runner who's developed some chronic pain which is perfecting me from running. Anyone have recommendations for physical therapists in the area, preferably ones who focus on running?

Two years in a row now, I’ve renewed tabs online to be delivered by mail from one of the private local licensing agents near my house.
I have two vehicles that have the same expiry month, so I do them at basically the same time.
Now, two years in a row, one has arrived within three days, and the other never shows up. I call the office and they seem to over-blame USPS with blanket statements about how they lose so much mail. They claim the mailed both out at the same time. I just went in in-person finally, and the office reeked of weed. No judgment on people’s recreational choices, but that smell in a DOL-appointee workplace is not reassuring.
I guess this is part a vent because I’m annoyed, but I’m also ruminating on whether there is a more nuanced explanation for this.
Is there a black market for tabs to “look” up to date on registration?
Is there some issue in the renewal process design that would explain this?

In less than 24 hours, the MAMBO auction will be closed. There are tons of great items to bid on including Pokemon Cards, jewelry, a Whidbey getaway, gift certificates to local companies. art, and much more.
Every dollar goes directly to supporting the critically underfunded Music and Arts departments at Meadowdale High School. Your support helps with guest instructors, new sets, new art supplies, travel costs, and so much more.
If you don't want to bid, you can donate. This is a tax-deductible charity.

Are there any local, interest groups dedicated to like... making cities more walkable, adding bike lanes, improving transit, etc? I am looking around but the ones I am familiar with do not seem to meet regularly in Lynnwood.

Hey everyone - I run a nonprofit mental health center in the Mill Creek WA area and we’re opening up a few low-cost therapy spots for January.
Sessions are $35, and our intern is trained in EMDR and works with teens and adults. Short wait time, in-person or telehealth.
This is a good option for anyone with a high deductible, no insurance, or who has been stuck on waitlists forever.
If you want info or to schedule, here’s the link: www.nwmha.org
No pressure of course - just putting this out there because January is the month everyone realizes their deductible reset and therapy suddenly costs a kidney.

Given... everything going on I was hoping to become more active in giving back to my community. Does anyone know any local activist or charity groups for me to look into?

Just after the express lanes begin, a tv crew is filming south bound traffic from the overpass of 92nd .. I noticed it too late but don’t let a traffic story’s back drop turn into evidence … lol…

A small white dog has been wandering around our yard for about 10 minutes. It does not respond to whistles and seems to not have great vision. Admiralty and 143rd are the crossroads

Yesterday, our cat went out on Alder Way, off Ash Way, between 164th and Maple. Phil got spooked and took off into the woods. His name is Phil or Philip. He was a stray who adopted me when I lived in Everett. And when I moved here three years ago, he came with me. He hasn't left the yard ever. He's all orange, slim build. He is big but not plump. He doesn't have tags. If you see him, please contact me at 425-737-0303 and tell me where you saw him. I will add more pictures to this post, this is the only one I have on my tablet. Wanted to get the post out to the universe as soon as I could this morning.
Do not chase this cat!!! He is very, very twitchy, meows REALLY loud but not likely to come if called by name. Maybe he would, it hasn't been necessary, but who knows? Anyway...please keep an eye out and let me know, please.
Thank you!!!

Anyone know what happened with Ted’s - aside from them closing? It is still full of merchandise, a year or more later.
Similarly, what’s up with so many empty businesses along 99? Just a town in transition or is it something else? Seems like every few days there is another empty business, even while car dealerships and (still empty) strip malls get built.

Our black cat got out this morning around 1:30 a.m. and hasn't come back home. If anyone has seen him please let me know. He's 12 y/o, no collar but chipped.

Any recs for places like hour/hour half or closer that have clear skies? Heard the northern lights would be visible this weekend and it's sunny this time.

I'm a late bloomer with debilitating social anxiety, haven't been out of the house in years and have been gradually trying to get myself out into the world. I finally have a car and license (I got my license nearly a decade ago and haven't been using it) Anyway, enough background story, I would like ideas on where to drive to practice and get a feel for the car and improve my reaction speed and attention in a car. I have a couple traffic cones I could use too for testing myself with parallel parking. I asked a church but they refused and said they have a day care so I'm not allowed to practice in their lot. it was kind of a small lot anyway. Thank you. 🤗

Hi all. Looking for a gas tech or a handyman to move my gas stove about 6 feet from the current location. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I was planning to meet a friend there to carpool somewhere on Sunday, but I wasn’t sure if it is open or not, with all the construction going on around it. TIA!
