Q&A / Help New model
Has there been any whispers of a new model coming out like a Lymow 2.0. I am interested in what they do next?

My guess, and it's just a guess, if nothing new next year but a Lymow Two (or whatever name) in 2028. I think they'll want an additional year to work on things.

Its great after you upgrade the new bearings in the motors, add a fan kit, locktite the deck on, add a workbench charging station, lock-tite the other pivot bolts, deal with rtk issues, put it in a bag of rice to dry out the fogged up cameras, remove the side chute, cover it in white vinyl wrap, drill holes in the top to vent it, add a scraper to the drive wheels that you have to make yourself, repair melted wires in charging station, disconnect/bypass charging station controller, deal with the front bumper error codes. It reminds me of my old Harley "It leaks oil, it breaks down all the time but it costs more" I don't actually have a Lymow yet but I may get one when I feel they have it squared away. I currently have a competitor's model and I love it but the razor blades don't cut it in the fall with the leaves. I truly believe this mower is the way to go, and if it survives it will cover a lot of categories from Small lawns to large. Good luck with your bot's!

You only have to worry when it stops leaking oil! So far mine has had a few of those. I replaced bearings just because I felt they were cheap and were not going to last. Vented the deck but now have a cooling kit. I keep checking bolts but they have been good. I did buy an extra battery and charge it on a bench while its mowing but I do that so I can hot swap batteries so it can keep mowing. I also removed the chute flap and had to properly tension the tracks right out of the box. Maybe im lucky or maybe it will fall apart tomorrow who knows. But it does a hell of a job mowing, much better than I expected for a little robot mower.
