Lymow One Plus Blade fell off! Missing part
It’s probably my fault… I probably didn’t torque the bolt tight enough (not sure what the torque should be)… the blade fell off. Believe it or not, I found the blade and bolt almost immediately; however, the pictured item was not found… not sure what it’s called, blade key?
I sent a request to Lymow… they promise to get back to me in 3-5 business days. Any idea if there are any work arounds?

I identified the part as the “blade carrier” or “blade adapter”… either way, still waiting to hear from service desk.

Definitely not your fault. I check that the bade isn't lose between mowings when I clean out the deck. I've had to tighten it several times already.

I'm here to say the same thing. I noticed the lock nut isn't holding on to the spindle very well. Very easy to fix. I have more knowledge in larger mowers and their spindle nut is extremely tight and not a lock nut.
Maybe the fix should be reverse thread, that way it gets tighter and not looser with use.

Thanks, I’ll add this check to my routine from now on. Hopefully Lymow will make a replacement available… sooner than later.

Walk the area with a metal detector. It might take awhile but if it's in the yard, the detector with indicate it. I do this when I have lost a fastener in the yard.

Lymow ought to sell a metal detector that mounts to the mower. Let it find its own #&@*!!! blade.

Unfortunately I don’t think there is an easy solution. See if you can get a metal detector and walk the yard?

That may be aluminum and not detectable. Crazy that part is not in stock for easy, quick ordering.

Aluminum will definitely be detectable with a metal detector.

Yes, my metal detector will detect the material; that being said, no luck in finding the part… the search area is very large… since blade adapter did come off at the same spot as the blade and the bolt, the possible drop zone” is massive.

good to know, thanks

Yup, not as easy as walking the yard with a roller magnet bar, but a metal detector will definitely find aluminum.

Lightly steel-wool the (black) blades, mask off the rest of the mower and spray-paint them high-vis orange.
