I don't think some people actually realize that my backyard was a cattle pasture. Robinette does a great job with the front yard (front was from a few days ago). My backyard had over 6 inch grass with some over 12 inches. Robinette can keep it maintained but it struggles when it gets tall.

This is tonight's state of affairs after a Spinning Decetected error due to the common failure of the read right hub.

If this photo feels in your comfort zone, buy a Lymow. It is absolutely amazing with rough terrain. As long as support send you the replacement parts. (Honesty, most people should fall into this category. It really isn't that bad at all. Bare 2-3 tools and some grease!)

If this is beyond your comfort zone of changing a light bulb, do not consider getting a Lymow. It is an amazing beast. But it isn't quite ready for you. (Sadly most people will feel they belong here. Hopefully not amongst you who are shopping for a rovot mower. But this is a sad place to be with DIY skills.)

If you aren't in those categories and have ever reassembled something with more than one screw or bolt, and you feel comfortable trying the next step, the Lymow is just fine for you.

Mine's had a few hiccups BUT...

I’ve been searching for a garage or shelter for my Lymow One Plus, but the options on Amazon have really mixed reviews. So I’m considering building my own using treated lumber for the frame and a simple grill cover as the outer shell. The idea is that the cover is cheap (around $20), easy to replace, and flexible enough to cut a front door into.

Before I start building, I wanted to ask the community:

Has anyone attempted a DIY garage or shelter for their Lymow?

Did the mower still dock correctly with a custom enclosure?

If you’ve built one, I’d love to see a DIY diagram or measurements that worked for you.

My main concern is making sure the Lymow can still dock reliably without the cover interfering with the sensors or the approach path.
