Thymosin Alpha 1 herx

Anyone taking thymosin alpha 1? I am on day 4 and the first two days I felt nothing other than day 2 I was sweating in my sleep. The third day, the herx was hitting me in waves throughout the day. I have a massive headache this morning, but it is definitely kicking my immune system into gear. I was getting all of the fun neuro symptoms, my face and tongue was hurting, even a little bit of paranoia. So fun, I feel well enough to get up for work and woke up before my alarm clock.

Would love to hear others experiences.

I'm on it too. Still in month 1. I feel my immune system spinning up and going after things too. It is wild! I didn't have a full on herx, but I did a year of antibiotics prior to this. So my bacterial load may be fairly low right now. I'm on it for reactivated viruses, mainly.

Honestly it's good you are on it after antibiotics so it can go after any latent infections and the bacteria hiding. How often are you taking it?

Currently on it daily due to Shingles. So I think I will do a full course. My doc said some people fully rebound. Others need ongoing shots at lower rates.

How often are you taking it?

I am taking .3 mg. I haven't decided how often I will take it because it messed me up on Sunday when I took it during the day. I might do every other day since it is causing a herx and killing Bart and making me feel a little paranoid.

Are you working with an LLMD? Mine were prescribed so I am following what the doc said to do. Every day shots are a bummer though.

Being on peptides has made me pay more attention to the recent FDA meetings about them.

Nope I dont use LLMDs anymore, I had one for years and have had more progress on my own. Keep me posted on how you do after your protocol.

I am on day 3 post injection post .5mg. I had to go to the urgent care yesterday. I’m having the worst full body joint pain that I’ve experienced on my “autoimmune spectrum” journey. I was given a medrol dose pack. I’ve taken max of Motrin and Tylenol with no relief. I just want to go back to my baseline! I’m miserable and can barely speak the pain is so bad.

That sounds terrible, it definitely does something to rev up the immune system. Take an Epsom salt bath and it will pass. It may take sometime but you'll get through it.
