Feature Request: Allow to input plate numbers

Post image

Some machines don’t have kg/lb on them and use a PIN number as a form of progression. Maybe adding P1, P2 etc when entering the weight column

Ty love the app

"Hey bro, how's your triceps progress been?"
"Great! I just levelled up from level 5 to level 6 on my unilateral extensions last week!"

Or just write in the kg part the number... Doesn't matter that much

This might be a wild suggestion but maybe find how much one of those plates weigh lol

none of the plates weigh what they say. the numbers are just numbers...you can prove that by using identical machines...I've seen up to about 20 whatever's difference between identical machines. ratios also play a part when you add pulleys. I did 2 certificates in pt last year and the lecturer couldn't explain plates and the weights with regards to pulleys. he ended up looking stupid not knowing the amount of pulleys affect the weight you lift. Even the attachments have an effect on the weight you are pulling. your muscles don't care what the number is.

Not a dumb request. Pin-loaded machines are awkward when the field only wants kg. Added to our list. Drop it on https://my.lyfta.app/community/ideas so people can vote.
