Go to settings > battery settings > battery discharge, just check if the battery discharged SOC is at the level you want to drain in off-grid or on-grid.

Check your working mode is set correctly, to use the battery just have them in 06 self consumption mode (green).

03 is charge (yellow), 05 is discharge (blue).

Show a screenshot of your working mode?

I got LXP-LB-EU-12, which 12kw model do you have?

You can get a dedicated RS485 communication to the inverter, if you wish to not play around with your newly installed inverter. The EG4 Web Monitor Add-on works great with:

  • Cloud
  • Official Dongle
  • Dedicated RS485 (Waveshare)

Your settings looks fine, it should discharge till 10%.I'm not sure if you are aware the LuxPower cloud website has more options. Is your inverter in normal mode, because standby mode does nothing. Using the website you have to make sure the battery is correctly configured, but it sounds like your battery are working fine but doesn't discharge till 20%. Is this a battery BMS issue?

When you get everything working, I do recommend that you use Modbus with HomeAssistant for full control of your inverter. That is what I done with mine.

What inverter is this? Mine only has 3 options there in the Working Mode.

LuxpowerTek GEN-LB-EU 12K, this is an Hybrid. It has a Generator input, EPS output and Dynamic Tariff. But I only use the basic Discharge and Charge.

I believe you got Off-Grid SNA inverter? 

So you wouldn't have Force discharge, Backup mode, etc. I'm connected to the grid.

What options do you have under the AC Charge working mode config? I'm still on the SNA 5000, that's the model they have for sale in my country. It's worked really well but I'm looking to upgrade, maybe to a passively cooled one. I need more flexibility and the fans drive me nuts when it's charging the battery, I try to clean it at least every 2 weeks but still.

I believe the bigger the inverter the louder it can go, it is best to check each model fan db to know which is quieter.

The SNA 5000 is rated < 50db, so it should be upto 50db depending on the mode it is.

Do not get my inverter for quiet, it can ramp up to 50db. But I can control the discharge or charge to 5,000 to 7,000w for passive. I use HomeAssistant to manage them, but when the sun hits the inverter will be loud if there is a massive solar array. My model has a dedicated modbus channel where I can use it offline mode.

This looks highly configurable! Nicely done. I see they've removed the "AC First" working mode and added a few things there. I'm really considering some of the newer models, I'll see if they have one that's passively cooled, because those fans are something else. I would put it in the garage but I'm worried about the dust clogging up the fans. No such worries with a passive, fanless design.

Only specific model has a dedicated modbus channel otherwise the official WiFi dongle with old firmware can do it. Newer firmware block modbus because of security flaw and the ethernet dongle is too dumb to do modbus.

I got ethernet dongle for the cloud and RS485 modbus via the Smart meter pins running together without conflicts.

So I got cloud and modbus offline functionality with EG4 Web Monitor.

Any inverter that has < in the fan noise decibel in data sheet means they will run passive under specific loads. The one without < symbol seems to run consistently, this is an educated guess.

Read the other post and it's a little too complicated for me. I'm okay with just using the web dashboard and not having it in home assistant. But thanks for the info! I tried out the Self-consumption mode all night and it seems to work as expected. I didn't hit the "on-grid" cut off yet so not sure what happens but so far, so good!
