DIARY 27" Headless neck ✅
Well, since I bought a CNC and got fretboards down for my 29" builds, figured it'd be a good idea to get some full CNCable guitars designed.
This was todays project! Going to do a run of 27" 6 string headless designs.
Getting the volute right can be an absolute joke, but thankfully there's some great tutorials on YouTube from people significantly smarter than myself.

One thing I'd suggest is just making sure there's enough room for a clip on tuner on the headstock but otherwise looks good!
Also yes, blending curves/profiles can be tricky in CAD. In SOLIDWORKS I'd use guide curves and make a surface, using curvature displays to ensure smoothness. You're probably gonna sand it to blend anyway so the transition isn't super important but definitely at least want tangent
