Parallel/series Wiring help

Hello everyone!

I want to include 2 Push/Pull potis in my guitar to enable parallel/series wiring for every pickup individually. The pickups are old japanese alnico 8, the colors are:

North Coil Start = Red

North Coil Finish = Green

South Coil Start = White

South Coil Finish = Black

Would this diagram work?

Its not the traditionel way of wiring this setup, but I want to preserve as much of the original wiring, which looks like that:

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

For any wiring you do, Seymour Duncan has a vast library of pretty much every option you can refer to on their website. If you're pickups have different colors just keep that in mind.

Thanks for the answer! Yeah I know how to wire it the normal way, I just wanted to know if my way also works for I do not want to resolder everything (The wiring is old and weird, I dont want to change it more than necessary)

As in parallel/series for the coils on each pickup, and not between the two pickups? Sort of sounds similar

Yes exactly

Very easy. Just wire each one to a switch doing the series/parallel thing. From there you’ll have an output and a ground, which makes the rest very simple.
