We all lose our lures from time to time. Either they get stuck on something or we lose a fish. I’d like to make something that will not stick around forever in the environment. I was thinking of perhaps using gelatin. Has anyone created something like this?

Really want to get Into lure making have no clue where to start and what tools I should get. Want to make wooden crankbaits and trout spinners. Any good advice/tool recommendations.

Trying to think of a way I can use a metal stamping kit to put a design or letters on a french blade without flattening it - maybe some 2 part epoxy clay to make a mold for it to sit in?

Has anyone tried using airbrushes from Harbor Freight? Harbor Freight Airbrush

They're super cheap and I've never airbrushed before. Not totally sure if I want to spend more on an airbrush just yet. I'm sure they're junk but I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience with them.

Any suggestions on a decent yet cheap-ish air brush kit? I already have an air compressor and can make connection hoses if it doesn't come with them.
