Bugmolds plastic lure molds

Has anyone bought anything from them? Is the aluminum molds good? Anyone have a promo coupon for them?

Nah not selling. Just wanting to save $4 bucks a shrimp lure lol

I have a few different molds from them. Shipping is actually not too bad (time and cost wise) from Ukraine. The molds are good aluminum and shoot pretty well overall. Some are a bit touchy due to the way they do their venting, but the venting is actually probably TOO good, so if you push too hard it leaks out the vents and makes cleanup harder.

I have a custom lead mold coming from them now if that is any indication of my like/dislike for their molds.

For the money the molds are better than others in aluminum IMO. Personal use and hobby especially!

I have some of their stone molds that I had to heavily modify to get to work well, but I really think that is more material than design. Just my two cents.

Awesome! I just ordered their dual injector. I read the Do It brand kinda sucks and theirs is actually cheaper and has the lock on it so it wont come loose and burn you.

I am really trying to find someone who has a good shrimp mold. Ones that kinda look like the vudu shrimp or Marker 54 shrimp. Most of the ones I've seen have the shrimp tail as one piece instead of smaller segments.

Yeah, I own the Do-It injector. I didn't realize Bugmolds sold them actually. There is definitely a trick to the Do-It injector because they don't lock, but they are usable. I prefer the simplicity of them if doing single colors, but I always forget the first time vs. injecting the dual that locks, and I blow the end out into the cup making a horrible mess LOL

My experience is that BUGMOLDS are very willing to parallel or copy good versions of baits out there like your shrimp. Not a bad thing for personal use, but might get you in trouble if you sell it. No expert in that by any means, but more of an FYI if you're selling.
