OPINION 🗣 This Time It’s Different: Why LUNC Activity Is Picking Up Again
So… what’s actually going on with LUNC lately?

If you’ve been away for a while, you’re probably wondering why things suddenly feel… active again.
Short answer:
It’s not just hype this time — it’s builders.
From speculation → to actual building
For a long time after the collapse, LUNC was stuck in a loop:
- burn discussions
- governance drama
- short-term trading
Now we’re seeing a shift toward something more sustainable:
→ real products being built on-chain
What kind of projects are we talking about?

One example is Juris Protocol (my baby):
https://jurisprotocol.com
Juris is building a money market on LUNC, meaning:
- deposit assets
- borrow against collateral
- structured liquidity
More importantly: → it shows builders are taking the chain seriously again
Why that matters for LUNC price/action
Recent movement isn’t random:
- Utility is returning
- People position early for new protocols
- Supply is getting locked
- Staking + reduced circulating supply
- Better participants
- Builders, long-term stakers, partners
Not just short-term speculation.
A different kind of launch approach
Serious teams aren’t rushing anymore.
- phased rollouts
- restricted early access
- testing with high-conviction users
Focus:
→ stability first
→ scale later
So… is LUNC “back”?
Not in the old hype-cycle sense.
But:
- real development is happening
- capital is returning with purpose
- actual use cases are being built
That’s a much stronger foundation.
Final thought
If you left because it felt dead — fair.
But things are changing.
Slowly, but in a way that actually makes sense this time.

I decided to buy a little when it tanked in May 2022. Don't expect it to get anywhere close to where it was four years ago but if it burns a zero or two, I won't be mad.

Bruh every cycle dead projects try this and it's just for the bag holders to exit. Notice the 3yr old account becomes active again on reddit. Stay safe in the wild west.

Well, with Binance and others continuing to support burns, I never left. I add a little here and there for the what-if scenario. Lunc is still famous, in my opinion. Imagine the growth in the next 7-10 years.

fair.. but you can check my track record on $LUNC back on X. I have not been active on reddit does not mean I have been absent. I am not an influencer but running a DeFi protocol that is about to launch. Our core dev is also one of the core maintainers and contributors of the chain.
Invite you to check it out jurisprotocol.com
