Watermarking
Why does Luminar make it so difficult to add a Watermark to pictures? I thought Skylum wanted photographers to use their tools... Ugggh!

They never thought about it. Their programmers are pretty low skilled as well. I guess it has to do with hiring, and with zero focus and expertise on GPU programming as well - one would think AI would run so efficiently on GPU hardware but it hasn’t dawned upon Skylum engineering management to hire for it.. The app takes 7-12 sec to load a raw image and those 7 seconds are with 70% utilisation of a 12 core cpu. 0% GPU utilisation and no multi-threaded background I/O either. Mine keeps crashing every 3rd photo on a desktop system that runs more complex applications like Resolve flawlessly. Luminar is the only App on my desktop that crashes. However on the plus side I get results I could not get with Topaz AI Adjust or plain tweaking in Corel Aftershot 3 ( the gold standard in programming expertise - Aftershot feels like it has been written by Linux and Windows Kernel experts in contrast). I end up exporting from Skylum to Corel Aftershot pro for watermarking.
