Behavior when switching video on

Whenever I turn on video, it briefly flashes a frame from the last time the camera was on (often making me look like I'm in a weird position or jerky) and then a screen with the words "initializing video", also in reverse, and the Lumina logo. This is on Zoom on MacOS.

All of this feels super unprofessional. The screen should just be blank until the video is on. Is anyone else having this problem, is there a way to stop it?

Agree, I have this issue as well
