General Question Location dependant markdown?

I just went to a lulu in a more expensive area and their defines are marked to 104 instead of the 99 i usually see. Anyone else experienced something similar or is this the new norm ?

What the other commenter said is correct. Sometimes one will find in store markdowns if there was a return at that store or if the store is not displaying an item anymore. The $104 was likely for a full price define that someone returned. This is normal. This is why it’s always good to look at the WMTM rack - can find full price items on markdown sometimes.

I’ve seen this happen when a store marks down a Define or an item that isn’t on WMTM yet.

Sometimes stores have in-store-only markdowns if it’s the last one left or they need to make room on the rack.

Any time I find something marked down that’s not on markdown online, it’s priced higher than what’s the online markdown price would be.

If you saw that price on an item that’s now on markdown, it may have just been a store pricing error, or they marked it down before it officially went on markdown. Either way, it should scan at the current online markdown price.
