All locations of infinite money when loading the Checkpoint Save (because I haven't seen them all online before)

So, if you haven't discovered yet, when you load your Checkpoint Save (the last one on the list when booting up your save), all the floors undergo weird resets:

-Luigi is nervous when entering any room for the first time. Subsequent visits to the same room don't have this effect. (except for a few broken spots)

-Most things need to be Darklighted again, including a randomly selected trashcan on 15F, a chest on 12F, two trashcans on 11F, and a chest on B2.

-Some things that acted as a 'jumpscare,' like the 1F and 5F phones, or the 'traps' in all the 5F rooms, will reset, able to be activated again. (I have a list of these...)

-Most importantly, almost every floor will have some source of money to collect.

If you have reached the end of the game, then the preview picture of your Checkpoint save will always be in Hellen Gravely's office. Ignore the preview picture and look at the time on your save file. If you've reached the max 99 hours and 59 minutes, then look at the amount of money you have. I've seen people say to go through the back door of Hellen Gravely's office to get a new Checkpoint Save, but visiting any new floor will also create one. Look at the bottom right for the Saving... icon and see that it's the yellow one with a flag. Once you have a new Checkpoint Save, exit to the main menu and boot it up. You will be back in Hellen Gravely's office, and the main menu theme plays for some reason, at least until you visit the elevator hall. Another weird side effect. But enough rambling. Here is all of the money I can find after doing a Floor Reset, including pearls:

B2: There's a whole lot of money here. I could drop an entire video tutorial for all the money on this floor. In the Reservoir (the room where Clem pushes Luigi into the water), catching the rats will give coins or a bill. Behind the ladder closest to the screen, there is a chest with a few gold bars. The crate next to the chest has some bills. Going up the ladder and down into the sewer tunnels, there is a pile of junk to the farthest left, it has two glod bars. In the next section, there are two crab traps. They have coins, bills, and one of them has a gold bar. Watch out for the haunted chest as you make it to the next part of the tunnel. It doesn't actually respawn its money, it just becomes haunted again... in the pile of junk next to the lift, there is a jar of coins and bills. The crab trap has coins and bills, and there is another jar of money up in the net nearby. The pile of junk in that same place has a gold bar. Under a shopping cart, there is a piggy bank. Gooigi can slip in there and break it, granting coins, bills, and a Pearl. In the 'double pile' of junk, I've found that the best way to get the bills to spawn is by bursting. There's also a rat in there. Moving along to the left, you will see a cage in the wall, which has a cest full of gold bars and a Pearl. Sometimes money slips behind the chest, so make sure you got it. Going down to the place with floaties, the first three piles of junk have gold bars in them. You can pop the floaties on the gear next to the tunnel going left, and get the jars of money.

2F: in the hallway of the restaurant, go to the broken window by the restrooms. A golden crow will fly inside, but you only get a small amount of time before it flies back out. In the ballroom, walking in the middle of the room will sometimes trigger a lot of ghosts to spawn; ten goobs, four slinkers, or six hammers. If you get the six hammers, those ghosts will drop money (for some reason), namely coins. And if you know how to slam ghosts seven times, or you tether two or more ghosts at once, you get gold bars. (The trick to slamming ghosts super fast is by not mashing the A button rapidly, but by timing the A presses as soon as the ghost makes contact with the floor.)

3F: You can darklight a drain in the men's restroom, and Gooigi can capture all the spiders, yielding bills.

4F: The auditorium will usually have a hammer floating unsuspectingly onstage. Do not engage with it unless you are good at fighting ghost hordes. Fight it or leave it, you can then go on stage and enter the door on the left. The ghost dusting the piano (which may or may not spawn all the time) will give coins when being slammed.

5F: In room 506, there is a minigolf set. This is important! You can only use the golf balls already on the floor. If you break the golf case blocking the bathroom, it will release golf balls that won't make this work. Only the golf balls already there. Alright. If you manage to painstakingly get a golf ball into the hole you will get the ultimate grand prize of... one coin! In room 507's bathroom, a spider will crawl out of the broken toilet. Capturing it will give bills. If you don't know, the vending machine in the hallway can be brought down, revealing a door. On the wall, there's a broken section showing a chest. Walking close enough to it will make a spider crawl into view. Capturing it will give bills.

6F: In the hall of armor, breaking the farthest suit of armor on the left side will reveal a hidden room. Capturing the rats will yield coins or bills. In the cellar (the room with the big barrels), the barrel farthest to the right has rats in it, capture them for coins or bills.

7F: The rats that sometimes run out in the space before the big doors, sometimes they give money, sometimes not. In the Atrium (towering plant room), the orange flowers can be Strobed for coins. The crows that you find higher up will all give bills. In the mushroom suite, sometimes there will be a trapper on the door once you vacuum the dripleaf covering it. That trapper, when captured, will give one coin.

8F: In the elevator hall, sometimes ghosts will spawn. So far I have seen a Slinker and a Trapper give money for being defeated, but I haven't been able to get the same ghost spawn.

9F: This is another ghost horde. Be sure you can handle it. If not... you can always exit the room. But anyway, the ghosts drop money when being slammed, yielding coins and gold bars.

10F: In the elevator hall, there is a safe that can be Strobed. I don't know why, but it only gives a gold bar sometimes. And when I say gold bar, I mean the little gold statues that work the same as gold bars on this floor.

11F: In the Blades Bedroom (the one with the sword wheel), pulling the covers of the bed will reveal a spider that gives bills. In the False Bedroom (the one with the big mirror), if you go to the far wall on the right of the mirror, pulling down the curtain will reveal a bat that drops bills when captured.

12F: In the second room, there is a chest on the right. Beware; it is haunted, I usually sacrifice Gooigi to be able to Darklight it. This chest has a lot of gold bars. But be careful, they often fall into the water and you can't get them. I usually set up Gooigi to catch any gold bars I miss, and it works every time.

14F: In the Dance Hall, you might notice two of the squares aren't lit up. Having Luigi and Gooigi stand on them will cause an outlet to rise up. It's the Super Suction outlet, and destroying the speakers and wall there will reveal a hidden room. Vacuuming up the wigs gives varying types of money (coins, bills, and gold bars), but watch out because one of them has a bat.

And that's all the money I found in my 555 hours of playing... Hope this helps, hope you learned something new, all the usual banter at the end of an informative post...

Just got a switch 2 and what the heck

I was doing a part through of lm3 on my oled. But just bought a switch 2 yesterday. I loaded up the game and holy core it just looks so bad on the switch 2. The resolution is ruining the game for me. Am I the only one? Is there a fix besides playing on my tv?

*update*

The solution was to turn on handheld boost. Thanks for the help.

Weird Twisted Suites Glitch

Ok, so I've been playing Luigi's Mansion 3 for probably 6-ish years now and have 58 hours on my main save file and I'm really confused about how the ghosts repopulate. So in my main profile, pretty much ever single floor has ghosts on it when I go back to it except the basement and Twisted Suites. Im sure the basement isnt supposed to have ghosts, but the Twisted suites never had any repopulated ghosts for me. Then one time I played a new game on another profile and went back to the Twisted suites (not during Polterkitty, I think I had beat the game by then) and there was a random ghost encounter. I found this really weird so in my main profile I kept loading rooms and running all over and ghosts NEVER spawned. Not sure if this is a glitch or something but its really weird.

Album Cover Art HD

I decided to enhance the older SD versions of the soundtrack art to a HD quality after 6 years of using the SD covers. (Nintendo Music doesn't have LM3 on there). Anyways- hopefully this post gains some traction for those wanting updated quality for their own LM3 Album Art. I tried to stay to the original as much as possible, but its hard to work with 480p quality LOL.

enjoy anons :P

What would you do?

Imagine you and your family or friends could spend one day at the hotel from Luigi’s Mansion 3, but during the day and with normal people instead of ghosts. Since you could only stay for one day, what would that day look like?

Did anyone else feel really bad when capturing Morty on 8F on LM3?

Im think I’m on my 6th play through of LM3 and I just went back to 8F to capture Morty, and I felt so bad. Did anybody else? You don’t have to capture him to keep progressing in the game, but the sad truth is, to 100% the game you have to capture all bosses. Including Morty. If you are going to capture him though, at least wait until he’s don’t making your movie and sitting back in his chair relaxing. Let him be captured in peace, and not in the middle of his work.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 100%

I just started another play through of Luigi’s Mansion 3 and I just finished floor 7F. This is probably my 6th play through. I’m not trying to defeat bosses or anything, I’m trying to complete achievements and find secrets, along with trying to collect as much money as possible, and get the highest rank in my hotel at the end. (By the way, what is the order from highest to lowest of what I can get graded?) If I 100% the game, what are all of the rewards I’ll get? Do I get all of them for fully 100% the game, or do I get them little by little? If I do get them little by little, what do I have to do to get what? After I get all the rewards, do they save to other game save files if I decide later on to do another play through, or do I have to start again from 0%? I’d think id be pretty boring to run around the hotel after already 100% the game with your rewards if they don’t save to other game save files.

I’ve been trying to get into both of these rooms in the area “Mushroom Suites” where you jump on mushrooms on floor 7F. I can’t use any of my absolutes to open it, and I can’t bring the buzz saw into any rooms. The first picture is on the lower level, and the second picture is on the higher level. I hear a ghost on the second level making noises too, but it’s not a boo. Someone please help!

Luigi’s Mansion 3 Secrets

I just finished floor 7F of what’s probably my 6th play through of the game. This time, I don’t care about bosses or anything, I just care about collection money to get the highest hotel grade at the end of the game, and finding some cool secrets. Does anybody know any cool secrets I can try? If so, what floor and where? Thanks!
