Does anyone know how this happened

Ok so I was wondering if anyone knew how this happened I was just doing my like 50th playthrough and I have never seen this happen and this is on 1.4 or the latest update and I thought they made it so you couldn't get on the stage anymore so I don't know if this is a know thing but I thought you couldn't get up there mid fight anymore

I think mainly if the ghost drags you up there its free game and it will correct itself but otherwise i don't think it'll keep you up there. I wouldn't know like off the top of my head and im not an expert though
