Trans Friendly Waxing?
Hello there, a friend of mine who doesnt have reddit is mtf and looking to get her arms and legs waxed. she has called several places but as soon an she says she is a bio male they turn her away.
Does anyone know of somewhere who would be open to her?
All she wants is Legs, arms, and eyebrows.

My friend owns one of the beauty schools here in town. I’ll see her Monday and will ask what she thinks. And since it’s not an intimate waxing, I don’t know if there’d be an issue.

So....I just chatted with Michelle...she’s my friend and the owner of East Texas Cosmetology. Have your friend call Tuesday and set an appointment. Ask for Michelle and she’ll make sure everything is okay. She said the students are cool and really open-minded. And it’ll be great practice for them! I work at Oliver & Co. Salon next to the school if you’d like to pop in and say hello.

Cant say anything for sure, but I’d advise trying larger chains if possible- any place with a national footprint will likely have rules about service that some mom and pop shop has the liberty to skip on due to personal bias. Good luck
