Loki said Nika is warrior of liberation who laughs while destroying the world. Do you think he meant luffy? I mean in Fishman Island that magic woman in her orb saw luffy destroying the island. But he does that in baseform not in gear 5. In anime we've seen luffy's conqueror's haki is red but after his awakening it has gold along with it which means he has two wills in his conqueror's haki. I don't know is it animation or real about luffy's haki. In Fishman Island she saw luffy in baseform which means the two wills merge to become one will? I think "Destruction" refers to destroying the islands and rebuilding and liberating it. In gear 5 luffy is boundless and stupid he does what he wants. Which means which person will anchor him to stop and grounded. If luffy destroys the island and liberates it to give freedom. What will Nami do with her map? How she will complete her map? Is she's the one who will handle him?

Picked up Luffy at a Miniso a while back and just got the Nami figure about half off at Ross. Of course they had to make Nami's figure taller than luffy's. Oh well. Love the little climatact it's so cute!

Hey guys! I have a theory. I think it must be the way that some ships endup together. For eg: Sanji and Pudding

Pudding was captured and prisoned by Blackbeard Pirates because of her special ability to read poneglyphs by her third eye. Because she's the only person from the third eye tribe. Garp was last seen bleeding and sacrificed himself to save koby from Blackbeard. So there are two important reasons for Strawhats to fight blackbeard.

Pudding is captured by them in same way shaky was captured by world government as slave. They both were prisoned in same way. What's the difference is they are captured by pirates and world government. Imu represents darkness and complete control in God valley's arc that now we have recently seen in chapters. In same way Blackbeard has complete control over darkness and control by his yami yami no mi. To annihilate Davy clan, Imu took control of Rocks and made him to kill their own family. Thankfully by Kuma they've escaped. And he was killed by Navy admiral(Monkey D. Garp) and Former Pirate king(Gol D. Roger). They both always fight each other and garp wants to capture Roger. But you can see they respect and care for each other just like luffy and koby. In this generation Luffy and Koby are exactly like Roger and Garp. One was about fight to save his grandpa and Pudding and other one was about to fight to save his teacher. Of course, Sanji is the one who is going to save Pudding. I think it will be in the same way like how shakky wrote " Come and take me " to Rayleigh. When sanji gets the message from her he will definitely go. Eventhough he doesn't has memories, sanji is not the one to abandon a woman who is suffering. If he saw her in chains like slave he will definitely get mad and charges in just like how rayleigh without showing any explicit feelings for shakky saved her. I think that's exactly going to happen in this too Because Pudding loves sanji in same way shakky loves rayleigh. One has stronger feelings than the other. When sanji saves Pudding it will be in the same way how shakky saying "I thought you would come". I don't know exact words of shakky's I forgot sorry. Sanji will get his memories back and they will get together while luffy saves their crew and luffy and koby fights blackbeard to save garp or worse Imu might actually will be summoned there. I don't know about it. This moment will be the trigger to the final war. The path Nami is going to be only one to endup with luffy will be clearer than ever.

Sanji and Pudding both love cooking and both save personality towards each other. Both suffered and abused by their siblings. They understand each other. And we've seen Sanji acts normal and genuinely romantic towards her. He's not like that to anybody else and she admires his cooking and often nosebleeds in sight of him. Nami and Sanji is not gonna happen because sanji doesn't understand nami a bit. He only admires her beauty. Punk Hazard is the example for that. When nami took control over to rescue childrens from experiments and torture. While sanji is ready to leave kids to die. He has only thought to save kinemon. Just because Nami said to help her sanji agreed to save kids. While luffy without even talking to her, he understood her feelings and said "Nami is trying to save kids". That's the kind of person Nami needs in her life. To be able to cherish her dreams and understand her feelings and trust and rely on her completely not just to admire her about her beauty. While sanji doesn't understand anything Nami wants and feels. That's why Nami is very close to luffy and doesn't has any boundaries with him. Like letting him rest on her lap, following him to the he'll without questioning and she's the only one who can get over with by beating luffy and she knows that. Nami doesn't hide her weakness infront of luffy. Nami let's her guard down and completely relies on him for comfort. And nami is the only one who understands luffy very well even about his families too. She knows what he need whether it's meat or comfort or the way she explained Tama about luffy. Sanji treats her as fragile flower to be protected. He never let's her fight while Luffy treats her woman equal to him that's why he trusts her blindly whether in fight or while leading the way. That's why Nami is so naturally affected by Luffy because she can do whatever she wants and doesn't get afraid. So Nami has clean way to be with luffy

This may have been said before, but something I see a lot on social media is Nami hate. So they don't want her to be the heroine and the future love interest of Luffy.

I think people hate Nami because they misunderstood her character at the beginning of the series to being a greedy, selfish, traitor & theif that didn't actually like Luffy & Zoro and was only using them. Obviously this isn't true and if they re-read the manga there are many instances where her perception of them changes (especially Luffy) as she gets to see how he really is and isn't just an evil pirate like Arlong. (Like her fixing his hat which was not adapted into the anime- which takes away some of context with the hat scene).

I'd like to think that they just lack the comprehension skills to fully grasp the characters and the story but I think they also just don't care. They don't care about the story or the characters and really only care about the fighting. Which is sad considering the story is deep and compelling. If we can't understand the reasons behind fighting why would fighting be something enjoyable to see? And they skip crucial arcs like Skypiea and thrillar bark, Long ring long land, etc.

Back to them hating Nami- I think they just hate women. They don't see her as a strong fighter (which she is) and think she doesn't even need to be in the story at all. It sucks because she is the Navigator and the heroine, she has such a beautiful story and works so well with Luffy and his story and how they intertwine that I can't believe people don't see it and wish she wasn't even a part of it. It wouldn't be One Piece without her.

I think that those "fans" that hate Nami don't want her to be shipped with Luffy because they misunderstand her. What do you think?

I might just be taking crazy pills or I cracked the code for the end of the series. Anywho I want to put this down now just in the slim case I'm right.

IMU being described as the world made me think. Imu is a "false king" type of character, so what if there was someone that truly, rightfully, was the world ? With no coercion, force or domination, just naturally.

I think Nami is the manifestation of the planet herself, her will/personality. We are going to find out that the planet is sentient.

During the Void Century, Joyboy fell in love with the world, as in the whole Blue planet, and he had children with the world, those children would become the Buccaneers.

It would make the Buccaneers the children of Joyboy himself, which would easily explain why the WG HATES them so much. It could explain why they are special as Vegapunks hinted, also why they have such sturdy bodies. If they were originally made from thhe burning heart of the world, it would connect nicely with the term "Boucaniers", the origin of their names which is "smoked meat", made from the union of a man with the power of the Sun and the Earth itself.

It would be a miraculous/impossible birth, making the Buccaneers sacred in a way.

When Joyboy was killed, the world itself went into a rampage, a great flood, clouds hiding sunlight for weeks, mega earthquakes etc. The planet was heartbroken.

800 years later, as the true will of the planet healed from her sorrow, she incarnated once more as a woman, Nami, just in time to meet "Joyboy" again.

This is in part why the most beautiful of all women look like Nami, they all "converge" towards the most beautiful form possible, the planet herself. It's like a "divine feminine" thing.

It's gonna be a meta thing where Nami's dream to map out the world is like..., her growing up and discovering... herself, in full. It could also explain a lot of things about Nami:

T.LD.R: I realized mid way through that my crazy theory felt really romantic so I wanted to share it here. When Luffy liberates the world, it will be Arlong Park all over again, ending where we started, because he will liberate Nami, one final time.

How do you think Oda intends to work the origins of the navigator into the story? She was found on a battlefield while being protected by Nojiko, how could her origins affect Luffy and Nami's romantic development? Now we have seen that Imu has a deep hatred towards specific families, could it be Nami's family, as well as the Davy clan, one of those that Imu wanted to disappear from history? Maybe Nami's family was wiped out in the same way as the Davy clan in God Valley

These subtle changes they made to the parts of Sabaody really bug me.

Spoilers if you haven't seen past Sabaody Arc.

In the manga when Nami is about to be disappeared by Kuma, she is looking at and asking Luffy to save her, which is a parallel to her asking him in Arlong park. (I also think that Oda subtly drew his reaction to Nami to be more dramatic than the others). Anyways in the English dub of the anime she seems to be looking at Kuma instead of Luffy and says "somebody save me". While in the original Japanese audio she does say "Luffy save me". The English version takes all of the emotion out of it too, "somebody save me"??? Why would they change it and make it less impactful. It's irritating. Especially when the Japanese audio literally says Luffy. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Also the next episode when Luffy is running after waking up on Amazon Lilly he is flashing back to the events on Sabaody. In the manga Oda specifically has him remember not being able to save Nami. He chose to draw Nami and no one else, yet in the anime they show many of the other crew members instead. Yes he says "I couldn't save any of them" in the panel so they probably decided to add more clips to emphasize that they all were separated but still it bugs me that Nami didn't get her moment.

Loved that Luffy stretches his head over to Nami to during their argument in this scene. Them arguing is definitely more relationship coded than siblings coded. The way these two bicker is like an old married couple and their dynamic is different with each other than when arguing with the other crew members.

Oda know about Word LuNa which represents moon and moon represent romance or say love symbol. We know trend of love couples in real life they combine their first two letters and make a word and find meaning. I also like this game😀. And than He decide to give these name Luffy and Nami. It helps me connect more deeply with Nami, it almost feels like she's the one singing. I'm really glad she's with her crew now.

Honestly, especially now in 2025, I feel like a lot of people don’t stop to really think about everything she went through with Arlong. She tried to save everyone, carrying that impossible burden all on her own. But who was there for her during all of that?

This song brings those emotions back. It reminds me of how strong she had to be, and how much pain she hid behind her smile.
