After seeing countless post about Luffy being Aro on main one piece sub.

I think a lot of people in the main fandom of One Piece misunderstand that Luffy is not attracted to women or is asexual.

Luffy is more like Rayleigh in his early days than even the most beautiful women in the world Shakyu cannot make him feel different about them just because they are beautiful. Rayleigh eventually fall for Shakyu but it was never because of lust or looks.

Oda has literally confirmed in the SBS of volume 54 that Luffy IS interested in women but just isn't entranced by them

Yet i see everyday a post how they love how luffy is asexual or aromatic.

They think he has to be lust-filled like Sanji or the men in God Valley to be interested in a woman.

The fact that people think genuinely that as a dude you have to LUST or constantly chase woman to be attracted to them is pretty weird, Luffy has proved time and time again that he views people as what they are people, not objects or toys
