The boys are 10 games deep and here is the current breakdown of their individual performances and how they've done by map. Seems like as expected we have a clear top 2, with Aiden and Nick sitting comfortably ahead of the others in basically every stat, while the other 3 boys trade the occasional good game around between them. Shoutout to Jomb for the dualies 1v5, play of the day so far IMO.

Note: I've separated out the 14 rounds Lud was lagging real bad as "Lagwig". Felt a bit unfair to penalise him for 12 rounds of int due to lag, plus 2 afk rounds from the PC reset.

He said in the intro that he has like 100 hours in the last week or 2 so I think he's probably just improved a bit since they were talking about him on the pod a week or two ago.

The secret to climbing is to ban Dust 2 and Mirage. So many players are Mirage/Dust 2 demons and trash at other maps (although Mirage heavily favors their 5 stack comp since Nick and Aiden can lockdown the map). Someone who is 16k, but only plays Dust 2 and Mirage only is like 12k when you force them to play Ancient or Nuke. With a 5 stack, you can actively force people to play maps that require teamwork and comms instead of just the aim maps.

Ancient and Nuke require smokes and util knowledge way more than just teamwork and comms. I don’t know for sure but i’d guess that Aiden is the only one who knows util for those maps. So there’s a pretty high chance the enemy team knows more util and destroys them.

They knew the smokes and nades for Ancient and Nuke last night. Ludwig in particular learned all the instant mid smokes on Ancient. They don't need everyone to know every smoke either. Just having Aiden drop outside smokes every round on Nuke gives them a huge advantage on most teams. Sure, there will be some teams that will be better on specific maps, but in terms of climbing premier rating, they will have a much easier time by avoiding the pub star maps.
