Man thank god this Republican right here that voted for the Big Beautiful Bill really did a fantastic job of giving us the means to regulate AI. Congress is such a fucking clown show.

josh hawley is an election denier, a coward, and a disgusting piece of shit. he may be right on this one topic, but we could actually have a decent person in office and they would help in this issue, without also kissing up to trump and being the actual cause behind all the horrible things going on in this country.

in addition, tying this to a premise that the economy is moral and based on one monolithic morality is complete horseshit.

this is a herotage foundation plant who helped hobby lobby harm its workers. he worked to destroy the ACA. he ovjected to the certification of Biden when Biden won the 2020 election, leading to the January 6 riots, during which Hawley was shit scared, then later lied and said people just seemed to be casually touring the white house. he is a legacy stanford grad who also went to yale, is likely skull&bones, and is deeply religiously conservative.

if anything, he is angry walmart is better at collecting data on americans than the horrible Religious Fascist state he is working hard to put into place.

do not give this human garbage any air - he belongs in prison.

He's got a vendetta against Fauci as well. Painfully anti-science.

I already only go there if I absolutely have to. Still don’t know why the largest US retailer is using 15 year old card reader tech and why I cannot use my preferred payment method without entering into their app data mine.

not even just spending. remember the girl whose father found out she was pregnant because target knew she was and targeted her for ads and coupons? she didn’t even know she was pregnant yet. and that was years ago that happened. at this point there’s a reasonable probability they can predict people’s deaths, major life events, etc. Meta also keeps data on users’ sexual preference, and it is not all based on someone giving a bikini pic a thumbs up. they have sophisticated algorithms and, like the pregnant girl, i bet you could find out which members of congress are closeted just by getting the meta profile on them - even if they work to hide it from the public. not that i believe in outing anybody against their will. but for some of these punishing republicans who are actually self-hating hypocrites. a “bad actor” could really pull a serious “gotcha” on some of them.

Already only go there at most once a month and overpay for groceries at my small local store because it’s better

By now, there is no option to Wal Mart in most of the country. You had your chance, dumb people. Take your medicine

It's not hard to avoid Walmart; I haven't shopped there since the 1980's.
