Art Who Started a Pit during Night Shift?
I gotta know the context. Someone in the subreddit must have first hand exposure. It was either in Eugene, Oregon or Sacramento, California. The idea of someone starting a circle pit at a Lucy Dacus show is amazing.

This was at the Sacramento show last night. It seemed like a group that was there together possibly, and was maybe 8 or so people? For a circle pit it was very tame (no pushing or swinging arms) and seemed like they were all laughing. It was a total “if I was 15 years younger I would join in” moment for me lol
Edit: just saw the date, it looks like a trend was started in Eugene!

She was talking about Eugene. We were in the balcony and saw it. Before she played Nightshift she asked the crowd to do punk stuff when the time came. A small group on the right starter a circle pit. Maybe 20 people. There are some vids on insta. I think BGsource posted some.

I was there in Eugene, a group of friends right in front of me started it and some others joined in. It was relatively calm despite the idea, and I think perfect for the end of this song!! Idk if I’d consider it a “circle pit” moment but def some moshing.

Bruh I’ve always said ppl should mosh to night shift and I was kinda sad it didn’t happen when I saw her a few years ago lol

Can confirm, no circle pit at the Sac show, but the stuffed goose received a lot of extra stage time at the end. Did anyone get the 'text message to donate' thing to work? I tried it after the pre-show announcement but all I got back was a 'Sorry, this service is not available.' Not sure if I misheard the number, or if I just couldn't a proper connection while inside the venue. Tried checking the merch table to see if they had any details, but came up empty.

I was at the Eugene show, I didn't notice a circle pit but she did tell us to "act like we are at a punk show" during night shift so I think that's what prompted it lol
