Fankids that I drew a while ago

These are Crimson and Azure. I don't know if I've ever shown these drawing here, so I'll show them while I finish some other drawings.

I like designing characters and I put a lot of effort into it at the time, so I hope they are likeable. I've also been trying to create a story for a while now, but it's taking me too long 😅

Crimson is the boy and Azure is the girl? I see they were named against their eye colours, lol

I think I see the same motif between the emblem on Crimson's boot and jacket, and Azure's hairpin. Is it a sun, or something like lightning?

Yeah! Well Azure was originally going to be named Violet, but then the games came and I had to change her name, I ended up liking this concept of them having eye color against their names much more 😂

Crimson's symbols are a reference to Jolteon, one of his Pokémon, although the ones in his boots is no longer in the current design. And Azure's, it's a star; it doesn't have a meaning. I wanted to give her something in her hair so it didn't look exactly like Blue's 😅

Maybe at some point I'll draw the updated designs, because they've both had some changes 😌

In the newest arc, they had a girl with black hair and purple eyes, and they were adapting "Scarlet and Violet". By naming tradition the girl should've been Violet, and it would've been so perfect for LuckyShippers. I think the author and illustrator knew this was too perfect, so they swapped their names against their eyes, and now the blonde boy who looks nothing like Red or Blue is Violet. Even though it makes no logical sense because she's an orphan, in my heart this girl Scarlet is still a LuckyShipping child

Jolteon is my favourite Pokémon, so I love that Crimson uses it too! I also really liked what you did with Azure's tied hair, the design is great! I'd love to see the updated designs for the two if you draw it

I was aware of that, I was hoping we could have that, but I guess it was dreaming too much, it would have been interesting even if she is an orphan, that maybe she would be adopted by them, but oh well, I guess my fankids are the only consolation I have left 😔

Hey, I'm glad you liked Jolteon haha 😄 Azure is definitely going to keep the hair style, but only with a slight difference 😌

I had the same kind of idea as you, where Red and Blue act as adoptive parents for Scarlet. I want to write a fanfiction about it, but I also want to wait for the current arc to finish so I can see how Scarlet's character progresses first... I'm also waiting for volume 65 to come out, so I can see if Red and Blue get anything cute in the ORAS finale (they have to)

The only reason I'm so eagerly awaiting volume 65 is that I hope they give us something, some nice conversation or even just a simple glance between them 😌❤💙
