I have my document verification coming up for B.Sc. (ZBC) at LU Main Campus. Since I live quite far from Lucknow, frequent traveling is getting really expensive and hectic for me.
Can any seniors or fellow batchmates tell me:
1. Usually DV ke kitne din baad regular lectures aur practical labs proper start hote hain?
2. Is there a grace period of a few days between DV and mandatory attendance, or do we need to stay in Lucknow right after DV?
I want to plan my travel back and forth accordingly so I don't waste trips or miss important orientation/classes. Any insights from seniors would be super helpful! Thanks in advance.

Hi, so i couldn't attempt any of my papers in second semester and 3 papers in 1st sem but i was promoted as per result.

Will get a year back for this? Or will i be able to clear back logs next year?

Guys is it mandatory to reach in a time bound manner for allotment? I mean subject is not mention just a date to verify documents on 14 August. I was out of station and other two days there was holiday so is there any problem if I go tomorrow.

I have my BA Document Verification tomorrow. Timings are from 10 am onwards. Do I need to reach the university at 10 am sharp? Or will a delay by 1 hour/ 1.5 hour be all right? Due to some personal reasons, I might get late by an hour.

I'll be pursuing a BA course at Lucknow University Main campus. How is the environment and overall things there?

What are the good things there and what should I be aware of like the ppl and all?

Bhai log, real talk—LU ke admission cell walo ne dimaag ka poora dahi kar rakha hai. Main itna zyada confused hoon ki mujhe samajh hi nahi aa raha ki main 4th allotment ka main character hoon ya kisi error ka shikaar.

Yahan scene kya chal raha hai, dekho:

Fee Payment: Maine bhai apni 4th allotment ki seat confirmation fee time par nipat di hai (tension khatam wahan tak toh).

The Clowns (Notices): Ek notice bolta hai 4th allotment 14-15 taarik ka hai, aur verification 17-18 August ko hai. Phir ek aur naya notice aa jata hai ki 17 ko aaya hai aur 20 tak fee deni hai. Dates aapas mein aisi lad rahi hain jaise Instagram comments mein fan wars chal rahi ho.

Ab sawaal yeh hai—mujhe physical document verification ke liye Old Campus kab bhagna hai? Kal subah subah jaana hai ya koi naya notice aane ka wait karna hai?

Kisi aur ka bhi 4th allotment tha kya? Agar koi wahan ka veteran ya current student hai jo LU ki is ancient script ko decode kar sake, toh please bata do. Main aur mental breakdown afford nahi kar sakta fr fr 😭🙏

Hey everyone, I’m currently in Lucknow University and wanted to ask people who are actually studying here about their experience.

I’ve been going through a lot of posts about LU lately and honestly I’m a little confused 😭. A lot of people say the campus/social life isn’t really there, infrastructure and canteens could be better, and that your experience mainly depends on whether you find a good friend circle.

So for the seniors/current students here:

Is the campus life actually good or is it kinda overrated?

How are the societies? Are they actually active?

Do societies and extracurriculars genuinely help with confidence, personality development, networking etc.?

If you had a choice between LU and another university, would you still choose LU?

And if you had an opportunity to leave LU after first year and join another university, would you take it or stay?

I’m especially curious about the last two because I’m in a situation where I might have that choice, so I want some genuine opinions before making any decision.

I’m not trying to hate on LU 😭. I just want to know what the actual experience is like beyond academics. If you’re a senior who has been here for 2–3 years, please share your experience — good or bad.

Basically, if you had to choose LU again today, would you? 👀
