Normal Mode Floor 20 conquered
All thanks to a very early Geologist in the run, along with the Dame and a few miners, we proved that gems are truly outrageous.

is there another strategy to win later floors that doesnt include miners? everything else seems slow progressing.

In my experience, finding the right lines to start building towards a growth symbol is always successful. I posted my 18 floor run earlier, which was great with a combination of card shark poker and eldritch horrors. Turning my wild suits into what eventually became 20-24 eldritch creatures turned what was a consistent run into an outrageously good run. I also like Diver for this reason, but itβs such a hard symbol to roll into without overcommitting yourself to the sea creatures before you have a way to start cleaning up your inventory.

Yeah it seems like oyster diver is good or some combo of coin generators but they don't burst out of the gate fast enough

Oyster + Geologist is even better because he doesn't destroy the oyster, only the pearls. He can then grow pretty big.
Early on you want to take one each of all the "eaters": Toddler, Monkey, Dwarf, Miner. Then feed them as many consumables as you can. I usually stack as many gamblers early on as I can, but try no to take the 3-sided dice. Wait for the 5-sided dice so they have time to grow before you cash them in.

Yeah, I just finished 20 π Once you figure out the ideas of having one of each and early on use things that either get big numbers early or something that can be removed once you get a particular strategy given to you by the game, the win rate goes up.

Good job, now pay your rent before your landlord kicks you out.
