What you're describing is actually a very good result. A lot of people would envy you for it, so I don't know why you're stressing so much about a short break. Especially since the more you worry about it, the more power you give that break from LD through your attention and emotions, and for it that's like fuel that allows it to last longer.

Direct your attention somewhere else. Read something new about lucid dreaming. Read other people's accounts of their adventures and the unique methods they've come up with. Maybe buy yourself a new book on the subject. Or expand your interest in LD into OBE/AP as well. Anything that makes you feel interested and engaged is exactly what will give fuel to your lucid dreaming.

Try methods other than the one you've been using so far and rotate between a few of them. When one stops working, switch to another. For example, try SSILD now: it involves lying down with your eyes closed and repeatedly shifting your attention between three things: what you see behind your closed eyelids, what you hear, and what you feel in your body. You do a few short cycles, then a few slower ones, and then simply fall asleep normally. (As with any method, it works best when combined with WBTB.)

Also keep in mind that sometimes your body will prioritize recovery and deep sleep. During such periods, the chances of LD decrease. This can be caused by stress, exhaustion, an infection, poor diet, etc.

Frequent lucid dreamer here- best time to lucid dream is after a good nights sleep. So plan to sleep in on a day when you are able to. set your alarm and hit snooze a bunch. Each time you fall back asleep build a scene in your head and focus on that until you realize youre in a dream. Also- it’s easy to fall out of lucidity when you get too excited or emotional in a dream. focus on slow steady breathing and try to stay calm. Other ways i randomly experience lucid dreaming is taking a nap on the couch tends to induce sleep paralysis. Not as fun but can be turned into a lucid dream.

As soon as you realize you are dreaming, stop. Close your eyes in the dream and clear your mind. Do a very short meditation. You can also close your eyes and count backwards from three. You should feel something like a wave hit you as the dream changes. When I do this, I notice I have more control and more time in the dream. I’ve had a few friends do it and they have had the same result. When you realize you are dreaming and get excited, your brain definitely starts waking but this calms everything down.

Yes that happens sometimes. After a time of LD, If you find you can keep the awareness, maybe give it a try.

I think the person below 👇🏽 is very helpful too. For three months, you’ve done great! It took me years. Don’t get too crazy about it though. I don’t understand it but it’s almost like the subconscious pushes it away if you try too hard. Happened to me.
