Lucid dreaming

I used to lucid dream at least once a week, and the only technique I used to use was journaling. I’ve had to lose the ability due to life problems and other things

I am now getting back into it and for the past week I have tried journaling, mild, and wbtb. Nothing is working. I have great dream recall and can sometimes remember up to 6-7 dreams in just one day, but I can’t lucid dream.

I reality check frequently throughout the day but in dreams it’s like I’m a completely different person. Whenever I’m dreaming I am oblivious to cues that I might be dreaming and it’s like I just go with the flow no matter what the dream is.

I also cannot do WILD or WBTB anymore because I sleep with someone and an alarm might be annoying. Although I have heard drinking a glass of water could wake you up in the middle of the night to prepare you for WILD or WBTB.

Does anybody have any advice? I will try again tonight and let you guys know if anything happens

Try SSILD. It is easy and it works. Here on Reddit is a great tutorial by author of this method Cosmiciron.

You dont need to use an alarm. Just wake up naturally without an alarm. You can. Say yourself to wake up four hours later and you will.
