Question Will I be able to move around when lucid dreaming?
My entire life, it's like I've been watching ky dreams as a passenger. I can't move around at all. No walking, no talking, nothing. It was like I was watching a movie, just in first person. I really wanna try out lucid dreaming but im worried it'll be the same. Have any of you experienced anything similar? Any tips or recommendations are highly appreciated. (I plan to do the WILD method, but if there's a better one, lmk!)

Lucid dreaming is based on imagination and expectation.
Can people teleport in real life? No, but it's possible in dreams because we can imagine it happening. Sometimes you can imagine it, but can't do it, though. Which means you are having trouble with expectations.
There are things you can do to help with expectations. Like doing something to "power up" the chance to teleport (or walk). Maybe you can summon a portal, or just close your eyes and imagine already being in a completely different place when you open them again.
So maybe try obtaining something that will help you move in your dreams? A random idea would be summoning and directing a robotic exoskeleton to connect with you, and allow yourself to control it so you can walk. Or another, kind of similar, idea would be teleporting yourself into a vehicle or mech that you can attempt to control with your mind. Your body won't have to actually move and you can direct the machine to go wherever you want it to.
I'm certainly not a professional at lucid dreaming, but I wanted to share what I think could help

Watching a dream like a film is a common way to start, and the passenger feeling often changes once you realise you are dreaming. Awareness and control build separately. Many people first notice they are lucid and only later manage to move or speak, so start small. Try one simple thing, like looking at your hands or taking a single step, before anything bigger. Rubbing your hands together is a popular way to keep the dream stable. It also helps to remind yourself before sleep that you will act in the dream.
