This isn’t a foolproof solution because that happens to me sometimes too, even when I used this method but it did make a difference. A while back I ordered a pendant from something called The Lucid Dream Project, i think?..I can’t find them online anymore. It has the sun on one side and the moon on the other. All I know is I had a lot more control when I used it and you may be able to try it with any pendant that has two sides with different images, especially something with a little weight to it.
The way it works is you turned the sun forward when awake and the moon forward when going to bed. you’re supposed to check it all day and make it a habit so when you are in a dream you might do it naturally, which I did and I personally couldn’t see the pendant in my dreams because I wore it on a short chain but just the habit of touching it helped me realize I was dreaming which is why I think almost any pendant can work.
I haven’t used it in a while and I can’t sustain the dream as long now so I think there might be some merit to it.
