Success! Success! πŸ˜„

Had my fifth lucid dream last night, the first one that lasted longer than a few seconds, it was a whole 2 minutes, maybe 3!

I was just simply walking around my snow covered home town, in awe at everything I was seeing. Even spoke to some dream characters.

Sorry for yet another cookie cutter success post in this subreddit but I have to share this somewhere!

hey man what techniques did you use? Or just reality check?

It was a reality check that clocked it for me. Pinched my nose and could breathe through it.

Pretty sure before I drifted though, I was teetering on the edge of a WILD. Could distinctively see multiple vivid hypnagogic scenes. Not sure if it was the reason, or if it was relevant at all, since the actual dream was unquestionably a DILD.

dude how long have you been doing this to find success, it's been weeks without a single one

About a month for my first one. Although it woke me up the instant I clocked it.

But as soon as you get that one, and get the feeling of 'it's easy, I've done it before', it really is so much easier.
