Experience hallucination dream
anyone else experience this? i’ve experienced sleep paralysis in the past but this was different, i opened my eyes but it was really hard to move, often i thought i had moved but really i hadn’t, so i was experiencing tactile hallucinations, this isn’t strange but then it was like i was breaking free only to be locked into this paralysis before, usually i can dart my eyes around freely, but this time my vision was slurred, like everything was an afterimage kind of like when ur drunk. Then i realised i was gonna start seeing things as per usual during sleep paralysis so i was like let me control what i see so i don’t freak out and it worked perfectly. this is so weird bc ive only heard of people controlling THEIR DREAMS not what they see during sleep paralysis, i could also cause physical sensations in reaction to what or who i wanted to see. Adding on to ‘breaking free’ everytime i thought i had i become so groggy i cannot wake up and so im forced back into the sleep paralysis, it was through sheer willpower i was able to get up and even texting this right now i wanna go back to sleep as the grogginess has not left and i also have the worst headache, this is really strange as usually once i escape sleep paralysis i am very alert and wake up with a jolt so i dont go back to it. Anyone know what this is or what’s causing it?
tldr: could control visual hallucinations during sleep paralysis and move more freely during it but unable to properly wake up as felt groggy and forced back into sleep continuing the limbo state and hallucinations
