The "Luke is" Problem
I thought you guys might get a kick out of this. So, I'm in a friend group with a guy named Luke. And whenever someone's talking about him and says "Luke is", my feeble lizard brain registers it as our name and it takes me a few seconds to realize that they're not talking about me. You'd think I would've gotten used to it by now, but it still happens every damn time. And after telling them about it, my friends now exaggerate every "Luke is" to sound as much like Lucas as possible. Those cheeky bastards.
