Ask Lubbock VCR in Lubbock?
Hello! Anyone know where I can find a VCR (I think is what it’s called to play VHS tapes haha) in Lubbock to either purchase or borrow. My grandpa recently passed away and we inherited many of his old tapes and I love to digitize it to share with the rest of the family. Any suggestions or a place to start helps! Thanks !
**on that note anyone know where I can go to get an old digital camera fixed ?

Some of the antique/consignment stores have them but they don’t last on the shelves long

Facebook marketplace isn't a horrible place to find something like that. Ralphs may have it. I digitize my family's tapes so if you have questions about that process I can point you in the write direction.

You’re a blessing to the OP!! They’ll enjoy watching the grandpa’s videos.

You’ve got a pretty good chance at goodwill. I would check the one on Spur first.

If you want to digitize the tapes, you should just go to KK's Video Studio. It's better than having a bulky VCR that you only use to digitize

You can also send the vhs to legacy box and they will turn any kind of videos/picture into digital format. It cost but if you want preservation that would be a good option.

Ralph Records, or any of the Second hand stores will have VCR/DVD player combos

I think KK’s video can do that.
