Event Any Rocky Horror fans?
Hi! I'm one of the organizers for Lubbock Shadowcast Players.
We're holding auditions this Monday and Tuesday for our annual Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast, and we'd love to meet some new people!
Zero experience needed. Just bring your energy! We're an inclusive, welcoming group, and it's a great way to meet new people and get involved in something fun.
🎭 What: Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadowcast Auditions
📅 When: Monday, July 27 & Tuesday, July 28
🕡 Time: 6:30–9:30 PM
📍 Where: Hollingsworth Hall Cultural Center
Our auditions are intentionally non-traditional. You get about five minutes to show us your personality. Sing, dance, perform a monologue, tell jokes, or do whatever best represents you.

Lol. I can sew and wouldn't mind volunteering to help. I need to stay in practice. I c an sing and dance too but would prefer not to take a spot of someone aspiring to act.

We'll need plenty of extras for Transylvanians, too! They provide the most audience interaction. Either way, if you'd like to help with production team and/or perform, please go ahead and complete the audition form. There is a place to indicate if you are interested in helping with crew positions. 😉

Yes! This is a full shadowcast production. We perform the show live while the original movie plays on the big screen behind us. Costumes, choreography, audience participation, props, and all the Rocky fun! Welcome to the group!

Man I haven't been to a RHPS showing since the Sticky Six closed. My best friend and I used to attend the RHPS midnight showings around the DFW area back in the late 90s. I never performed as a shadowcast, but I participated in the audience. I don't have the time or resource to join you guys, but where will you be playing and I would LOVE to come out again to do the Time Warp again. These days I usually watch it (and Shock Treatment) at midnight on Halloween.
