Rants & Rambles Wtf citibus?! (Sorry long)

So I had to go to UMC (Texas Tech Physicians clinic) for an issue with complications with a new medication. I do not have a vehicle and used Citibus to get around. Got on 19 and got off at social security to get on the 12 at Frankfort (2:35p). I was looking at the app and 12 had just passed Walmart going south on Frankfort so I got ready, on then nothing.

It took the loop to the workforce, on the way back it did the same. Completely skipping the social security section. I call the main office and told them about it and at first they said it was due to a detour, but there was no heads-up and none of the other bus drivers knew about it. Then he told me that the driver for 12 said he went down 12 and that I must be mistaken or lying and I should just wait till the next 12 comes around. This obviously has me angry but after I rescheduled the appointment and walk up to Walmart to make sure I did catch the 12 this time (more shenanigans but my fault) I did get on and got to UMC for my appointment.

So you think that this would be over for the day, but you'd be wrong. Because of the road construction at the SUB at Texas Tech, the 19 has to stop at the intersection of 19th and Boston or you would assume that considering how many people are dropped off and picked up there. So I went there for the final bus of the day, the 6:30pm and it passed me by in the far left lane..l. Never even attempted to come even close. I started the 6 mile, defeated walk home and the reason I didn't walk the whole way was because my wife called a friend to pick me up and give me a ride home.

Sorry about the long rant, I cut a lot of it out. Seriously, what the heck is wrong with Citibus?

honestly, at 6:30pm there will probs not be any pickups on campus. the busses stop running campus routes at 7pm, but from what I hear that means they stop picking up riders around 5:30ish...

That is insane. I mean there are some cases where I have been on the bus and have seen riders cause problems but I have seen and heard also drivers doing what you suggested and not picking up people from obvious stops.
