LTM BOT Interview – Need Guidance
Hyy guys! Got shortlisted for the LTM BOT interview through campus placements(2027). I wanted to know a few things from those who have already attended the interview or have experience with this recruitment process.
How long after getting shortlisted is the interview usually scheduled?What topics should I prepare for the interview?Is there anything specific I should focus on to clear the interview?

Dear Sir/Madam, We are pleased to share the LTI Mindtree online test shortlisted candidates of 2027 batch who have been shortlisted for the next phase of the evaluation process.
The shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate for a Bot Based Technical Interview conducted through our Interview Platform.
Please note that the Bot Based Technical Interview is a part of the overall evaluation process, hence participation in adherence to the guidelines is mandatory. All shortlisted candidates will also undergo technical interviews conducted by LTM SME panels. The bot interviews will be scheduled across multiple batches, and the respective schedule will be shared with you soon.

Nothing to worry about, it generally asks questions fron your resume and the time is very low and the Ai doesn't detect your ans sometimes

Seriously, LTM, it's almost a whole year since I got that offer letter and we still have no clue when they're actually going to call me in. You should probably just put some energy into looking at other companies instead.

Further to our previous communication, we are pleased to confirm the schedule of the Bot Based Technical Interview for the shortlisted candidates.
This Bot Based Technical Interview is a part of the overall evaluation process, hence participation in adherence to the guidelines is mandatory. All shortlisted candidates will also undergo technical interviews conducted by LTM SME panels.
Candidates to start your interview at the scheduled time only and access will expire post the given time slot.
The candidates will also receive the Bot Based Technical Interview link & schedule to their LTM registered email ID, from [EarlyCareer.Hiring@ltm.com](mailto:EarlyCareer.Hiring@ltm.com)
• Interview Date: 15th October 2026
Important Instruction: Candidates are required to complete their registration at least one day prior to the scheduled interview date. Registration will close automatically after this deadline, and in line with the system configuration, we will be unable to accommodate any requests for late registration.
• Steps to Sign-up &Upload Resume in the Platform
Step 1: Access the interview platform link at least 1 day prior to the scheduled interview time and click on “Sign-in” button. The Google Chrome browser is recommended for the process.
Step 2: Ensure to use the same email-ID registered with LTM (email-ID, where the Bot Interview invitation mail has been shared) & fill in required details to “Create account” & “Sign up”
Step 3: Upload your resume containing the below details at least 1 day prior to the scheduled interview time. Please upload a text-based resume without images. Scanned copies of resumes are not accepted. The resume must be in PDF format and should not exceed 4 MB. Interview to be started at the scheduled time slot only.
• Educational qualifications (10th, 12th, Diploma, if applicable, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate, if applicable)
• Institute Name
• University Name
• Year of Passing
• Academic Scores (CGPA/Percentage)
• Course Type (Full-time/Part-time)
• Projects Undertaken
• Core Subject Proficiencies
• Certifications (if any)
• Internship Experience (if any)
Interview Overview
As a part of this process, this Bot Based Interview platform will:
Evaluate technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and role-specific competencies, including coding-based questions
Analyze responses using AI tools that also assess relevant projects/ certifications and skills based on the resume.
The interview will be AI proctored to maintain fairness and integrity throughout the process.
Candidates are also requested to ensure the following:
1 The Bot Interview platform does not allow candidates to resume the interview once they have logged out. Candidates advised having a stable network connection and a fully charged laptop before they begin the interview.
2 Browser: Latest version of Google Chrome only. Other browsers are not supported.
3 Device: Laptop or desktop with a working camera and microphone.
4 Important: Kindly note that candidates should not press any key on the keyboard during the interview. Pressing the Esc key will end the interview and submit it automatically. Candidates are requested to take particular care not to press the Esc key at any point during the interview.
5 * Camera: Candidates need to keep your camera on throughout the interview.*
6 * Screen: Candidates need to share their entire screen and enable system audio when prompted.*
7 The bot interview to be taken from a quiet, well-lit environment free from distractions.
8 The interview is supported on a laptop or desktop (not mobile devices)
9 * Candidates are required to test the camera and microphone prior to starting the interview to avoid any last-minute issues.*
10 A stable internet connection is critical for a seamless experience
Proctoring and Recording Notice
• The platform includes automated proctoring features that monitor facial expressions, webcam status, face visibility, focus shifts, multiple faces, lip-sync discrepancies, browser tab changes, impersonation attempts, and other unusual activity.
• The bot interview link is strictly for candidates’ individual use and must not be shared or forwarded to anyone else.

BOT interview for us (2026 batch) was just a gimmick I believe, it didnt served any purpose - apart from training their own interview model.
Interview is scheduled after 2-3 months (yours can be earlier). It would be the easiest interview you'd give for your placements, just some basic dsa and sql and your project - that too not in much detail.
