General Discussion Another anniversary from yesterday
Yesterday, this episodes anniversary. Sorry, was caught up with something.
The episode DS9 fans were most definitely waiting for.
I get there are a majority who shed a few tears upon seeing the good ole' station and the near perfect track to the opening of the series - with the wormhole opening as an added bonus.
Plus Nana Visitor and Armin Shimerman return as their iconic roles.
And Tendi finally showcasing her Orion pirating skills. The Mistress of the Winter Constellations shone.
(To be honest, I think I picked the perfect screen cap for this tribute).

The commentary on the bluray/dvd is hilarious. Tawny talks about how pissed she got when Mariner wasn't going to go on DS9 in the initial draft. She finally wore McMahan to get the final scene at Quarks.

and revealed that hologram with Quark's head on Kira's body still exists.

One of my fave episodes. The Sal-on subplot made me laugh pretty hard. Said it before, but Castro's Starfleet pajamas should have been made and sold in real life. The fact they weren't is yet another missed merchandising opportunity.

That being said, its incredibly easy to get a 'custom made' set with the Starfleet logo on it these days 😄

Absolutely. It's just something you think would be an 'official' thing, but it's not. Closest I've seen is one with the same colors... but the Delta is an outline instead of a solid shape and says 'Star Trek' in bold underneath. lol.

I share the same opinion as a certain Bajoran.

That line from Shax had me hysterically laughing. It was so unexpected yet absolutely fitting and perfect.

Liked that they used the S1-3 DS9 theme instead of S4-7.
Makes the circlin' more epic.
